Prirodne mineralne vode su one kojima se mineralni sastav ne mijenja tokom sva 4 godišnja doba i te su vode „hoteli s 5 ** zvjezdica" tj. najbolji izbor. Prirodne izvorske vode su kategorija b ili „hotel s 3* zvjezdice" jer se njen mineralni sastav mijenja tokom godišnjih doba. Kategorija 3 stolne vode su najlošije vode.
